Believe.

Maybe you’re at a job that you don’t really like, you might not completely despise it, but it leaves you feeling unfulfilled.  The money is probably ok, maybe enough to get by but there’s never really much left when the month is over to save or go on a holiday.

You can feel yourself waning, losing faith.  You never used to be like this all those years ago, you were excited and every day was an adventure.  The thrill of not knowing what was around the corner would keep you up at night, but now, you’d rather just go to bed and get through the week.  What happened?  Where did that you go?

Somewhere the real you is till there, it’s just buried under routine and jobs that don’t really align to who you are.  It’s draining you of the belief that you can actually create some resemblance of a life that makes you happy.

It’s understandable; responsibility is getting the better of you.  But you can’t give up.  Faith is like a garden that needs to be fed and watered and have we really kept feeding it?  Probably not, so understandably it’s begun to die.

Back then all your friends felt the same way too, tomorrow was exciting, but now they’re like you, all feeding each other the same negative message.

Bruce Lipton, a genealogist suggests that to reprogram your brain you should listen to some affirmations just as you’re drifting off to sleep, because your sub conscious, the part of your brain that drives 90% of your behaviors will absorb what it’s hearing and begin to change over time.

I don’t about you, but I’m up for giving it a go.  Life is too short to be wasted hanging out with thoughts that don’t serve us well.
